George K. Frimpong

George builds the systems AWI runs on: its technology, data, digital infrastructure, and automation. An engineer by training, he graduated with First Class Honors in Geological Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology in Ghana, taught and conducted research there, and is now pursuing an M.S. in River-Coastal Science and Engineering at Tulane University. He is also Co-Founder of DeepStem Hub, a Ghanaian STEM education company driving hands-on science and technology learning while tackling environmental challenges like plastic recycling. Engineering teaches you to make complex systems reliable under pressure; George applies that discipline to AWI's digital infrastructure, so a lean team can operate across geographies without sacrificing execution.
